Located at Mesa del Mar, Tenerife, a house on its structure is to be restored and extended. The existing structure in contact with the rock is preserved for the bedrooms and the extension is arranged as a big portico with a swimming pool on top that embraces the main floor with the living room and kitchen beneath. The whole provides different situations towards the ground and the horizon.
The facade is made out of projected concrete, with thick aggregation and it is painted in opposite directions of colors: ash grey and golden copper, mimicking the volcanic rocks surrounding the building.
